I Can’t Help It If I’m Still In Love With You
Linda Ronstadt sings Hank Williams, with some help from Emmylou Harris, back in 1974:

Here's the Hank Williams 1951 original, plus a duet with Anita Carter in a slightly annoying video juxtaposing some anodyne modern couple, but worth it for those looks Anita is casting Hank's way. And videos of Hank Williams live are pretty rare.
Not forgetting Patsy Cline.
According to Colin Escott's 2004 book Hank Williams: The Biography, fiddler Jerry Rivers always claimed that Hank wrote the song in the touring Sedan, and when he came up with the opening line, "Today I passed you on the street," and then asked for suggestions, steel guitarist Don Helms replied, "And I smelled your rotten feet." The song was recorded at Castle Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 16, 1951 and issued as MGM catalog No. 10961. Williams was backed on the session by members of his Drifting Cowboys band, including Rivers, Helms, Sammy Pruett (electric guitar), Jack Shook (rhythm guitar), Ernie Newton or "Cedric Rainwater", aka Howard Watts (bass), and either Owen Bradley or producer Fred Rose on piano. It was released as the B-side of "Howlin' at the Moon" but on the strength of its simple language and passionate singing, soared to number two on the Billboard country singles chart.
Ronstadt retired in 2011, revealing later that she had Parkinson's Disease and could "no longer sing a note." The diagnosis was subsequently changed to progressive supranuclear palsy.

The case of Nazim Ali
“>Nazim Ali is well known to those in the Jewish community fighting antisemitism. Ali has been a visible face of anti-Zionist, antisemitic activity, fronting the Al-Quds day march for years. But it was his public remarks at the 2017 Al-Quds demo, about ‘fake Jews’, Rabbis, the Board of Deputies and Grenfell, that led to the complaints about him to the General Pharmaceutical Council.
It took three years to organise and in the end, the hearing by the ‘Fitness to Practise’ Committee of the General Pharmaceutical Council was a complete whitewash. The Committee was not interested in witness statements provided by Jews, nor did they pay any attention to the IHRA definition of antisemitism. In the end they dismissed the antisemitism charges because the Committee did not understand what the comments meant and couldn’t be bothered to take the effort to find out. It was an exercise in colonial, supremacist thinking that tried to find the middle ground between the racist and the victims.
After the decision was made public, UKLFI [UK Lawyers for Israel], as early as the 16th November, wrote to the Professional Standards Authority to notify them of ‘serious concerns about Nazim Ali decision’. Others involved such as Jonathan Hoffman also turned to the PSA. On Friday the PSA gave their response. The Committee had ‘erred in its approach’ to antisemitism. They have referred the case to the High Court to quash the judgement – they want a do-over – this time conducting a hearing that deals with antisemitism properly….
