  • Low grade totalitarianism

of the university’s social media and trans equality policies that protect against a “humiliating or offensive environment”. Mr Best successfully appealed, then went to the ombudsman which reviewed the case.

The OIA ruled last month: “We are not satisfied that the University has adequately apologised for the delay and the impact of the procedural failings on Mr Best. We consider that distress and inconvenience was caused to Mr Best, which has not been recognised by the University.”

Still, what a farce to have to go through all that. Not many would have had the determination.

  • Standing up for reality

ds and MPs spoke up, some for the first time about the need for clear language about sex in law and policy.

This happened not because established human rights organisations, think-tanks and universities took leadership, but because of the emergence of small, courageous organisations and networks, standing up for reality.

But the message needs to get through. Many organisations are still in thrall to the gender ideology promulgated by the likes of Stonewall UK, with their Diversity Champions scheme.

La lutte continue, as someone once said….

  • Not just Zionism

lia Skripal in Salisbury in 2018, Prof Miller insisted it was wrong to conclude that Putin was behind the attack, calling it “an extraordinary case study in the continuing relevance of understanding state propaganda in 21stcentury Britain. To support their lies, the British government employs thousands of people directly in propaganda and related activities,” he wrote in an essay on the Open Democracy website.

One of the SPM’s main targets is the White Helmets, a civilian search-and-rescue service launched by former British Army captain James Le Mesurier.

Vanessa Beeley, a prominent SMP member who branded the Charlie Hebdo attacks a “false flag”, labelled the White Helmets an “al Qaeda auxiliary” group. If the claims were true, she said, the humanitarian workers were a “legit target” for Assad’s butchers.

The blogger — who counts a meeting with the Syrian dictator as her “proudest moment” and has shared a platform with a convicted Holocaust denier — spends much time in Damascus, where she drives a pink Volkswagen Beetle with an image of the Syrian dictator on the rear window.

When questioned by the JC, Ms Beeley, who has been praised by Prof Miller, said she was victim of a “smear”. “It is frankly unimaginative and barely worth a response,” she said. “You will do what you are instructed to do regardless of my response.”

Instructed to do by who, exactly? Well, I think we know the answer to that one.

Here's an article from 2017 which documents how the whole smearing of the humanitarian White Helmets group as an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist organisation was promoted for the benefit of Assad and his thugs by the Russians, using useful idiots like Beeley – and, it seems, Miller – to help push their claims.

  • Unlawfully discriminates against women

In a lawsuit that has some parallels with the Keira Bell case last year – a push-back against trans ideology from someone who's had to suffer the consequences – a woman is making a legal challenge against the Ministry of Justice, and its policy of placing trans women in women's prisons:

Trans prisoners should be excluded from female wings because they are "disproportionately" likely to commit sexual assaults, the High Court has heard.

The Ministry of Justice's policy of placing trans women in women's prisons is being challenged by a prisoner who claims she was sexually assaulted behind bars.

FDJ, who cannot be identified, claims that in 2017 she was sexually assaulted in prison by a trans woman, known as J, who had convictions for "serious sexual offences against women". J was being housed in the general population of a women's prison.

FDJ’s lawyers claim that J has a gender recognition certificate (GRC), which is not admitted by the MoJ. As a result, they are arguing that the Government's policy of allocating trans inmates to prisons based on their declared gender identity unlawfully discriminates against women.

Speaking on the first day of the two-day remote hearing, Karon Monaghan QC, representing FDJ, told the court that trans inmates account for one per cent of the population of the women's estate but "they are responsible for 5.6 per cent of sexual assaults".

"There's a disproportionality," she said, adding that trans inmates are "more likely to be committing sexual assaults in the prison estate". She also quoted MoJ statistics detailing the population estimates for trans prisoners in England and Wales.

The hearing, taking place before Lord Justice Holroyde and Mr Justice Swift, was told that there were 125 trans prisoners in 2017, 60 of whom were serving sentences for sexual offences. Of those 60, 27 were serving a prison sentence for rape.

Ms Monaghan also told the hearing that, between 2016 and 2020, there were seven sexual assaults against females in women's prisons by trans women….

However, the MoJ argues that…its policies pursue legitimate aims, including "facilitating the rights of transgender people to live in and as their acquired gender (and) protecting transgender people's mental and physical health".

Protecting women's mental and physical health clearly comes much lower down the list of priorities.

  • Bailing the defendant without conditions

    eclared-device-found-during-visit/”>Here's another case:

A convicted child rapist who is banned from owning internet devices unless approved threatened to kill herself when one was found at her home.

    But, of course…

Alex Smith, who is transitioning from male to female and is formally known as Matthew Burren, was arrested after officers carried out an unannounced visit to her home in Beaulieu Close, Toothill, Swindon, yesterday (1 March).

It's important, naturally, to respect the chosen gender identity of said rapist. Always "she".

On arrival, she was asked whether she had any internet-capable devices they were not aware of. She told officers she did not, however, when they logged onto the router they found an unknown Samsung mobile phone connected to it.

Smith denied any knowledge of the device, but when challenged she indicated towards a red coat in the room. The Samsung mobile phone was subsequently found beneath it.

She then picked up a pair of scissors, walked towards the officer and said “I’m going to kill myself”. She was arrested and taken to Gablecross Police Station where she was charged and remanded in custody overnight.

At Swindon Magistrates’ Court today, the 28-year-old admitted breaching the terms of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) – which prevents her from owning internet-enabled devices without seeking permission from probation service officers prior – by failing to declare the device for inspection.

Taking into account four previous breaches of the SHPO and that the sentencing starting point for the offence is 12 months in custody, district judge Joanna Dickens adjourned the case so the defendant can talk through a report with the probation service.

Bailing the defendant without conditions, she said: “Obviously people have concerns about you, but I’m going to take a chance”.

A child rapist now identifying as a woman with four previous breaches of a sexual harm prevention order, who lied to the court, then threatened to kill himself….sounds like a solid bet for someone who just needs a bit of understanding and can safely be relied upon to turn up for sentencing, no problem. Perhaps in a nice new dress.

And it will, no doubt, be a woman's prison where he ends up.
