Sex designations on birth certificates

ven “Titania McGrath” could scarcely have known how quickly such ideological fads would metastasize into medical literature. And it should be a source of shame for the editors of the NEJM that today’s published content now reads as a plagiarized rehash of yesterday’s farce.

File next to the trans activist who thinks that all children should be put on puberty blockers, until they're able to judge what gender they really are. But at least the activist isn't writing in a prestigious scientific journal.

“sex designations on birth certificates offer no clinical utility …”
Birth certificates have no clinical utility period. They’re not supposed to. They record physical features at birth — hair color, eye color, birth date, and sex. The NEJM has no business fussing with birth certificates.
“… and they can be harmful for intersex and transgender people.”
How? In my life I’ve used a birth certificate twice, to get a passport and a drivers license.
