Aretha on the Cliff Richard Show, 1970. The startling image of our host making the introduction dressed as a prat is, fortunately, brief.

Oriiginally recorded by Ben E King – written by his wife Betty Nelson – in 1962. It's a great performance from King, but maybe suffers by being produced to sound too much like his classic Stand By Me from the previous year.
Aretha, of course, makes it her own. With some great piano, too.
