I don't think there's much chance of a George Floyd repeat here, to be honest. Generally it's not a cause that the left have shown much interest in.

The Lewes Amnesty branch is having a special push on the horrors of the US, as if Americans were helpless in the same way as subjects of totalitarian regimes are. To put it kindly, it’s an odd way of directing one’s humanitarian impulses.
